Back in 2012, I caught myself red handed in following the trend when I bought this pair of bright colored jeans. I really couldn’t help myself, but now what do I do with them now that the trend has come and gone? I dug this pair of bittersweet (yes it is a color) colored denim out from the bottom of the drawer and was so close to throwing it into the Good Will pile, but then I accepted the challenge of creating a 2014 look with these 2012 pants.
I decided to tone down the bright and warm orange-pink color with the cool pastel blue and the dark purple. My tip is to contrast bright pants with neutral and/or cool colors. Then add a neutral statement necklace and black shoes, and you’ve got yourself an #ootd that saved you a went-with-the-crowd guilt trip.

Cute! I can never find colored jeans in my size, but I love the look, even if it has been around for a few years now. Also, I adore your necklace!
Thanks! Hmm, you should try Gap! I love the pants there!
Amazing! I just love this outfit 🙂
Aw thanks so much! 🙂
YES! I love colored denim!
Yay! Join the club! 🙂
Super. I find myself wondering Wat to do with my red and peach oh and green pants
what was I thinking 😛
You’ve pulled off this look likeaboss B-)
Haha. Yea I definitely have those moments. Oh red would look nice with like an off white or sand color. And peach, maybe try a cool light blue like the one I’m wearing in this post. As for the green…sand would look great too! Don’t throw them away! 🙂
Thank you so much. Yes I definitely dint think of light blue with peach and sand with green. I will try them out ❤
Loving this!
Aw thanks so much!
I thought this was still a thing!? LOL Well, I think you look great and I love how you styled them- this is likely going to be a trend I hold onto 🙂 I just love the way they look!
Haha. I’m pretty sure it’s still somewhat of a thing but I keep seeing less and less of them around. Thanks so much! 🙂
Those pants are perfect! I love that color and I like that you kept the rest of the look pretty minimalistic. It allows the pants to do the talking and doesn’t overpower the look. Gorgeous jewelry choices as well!
Aw thank you so much!
Absolutely love how you updates these pants! So cute!

I love those pants. I’ve never purchased colored denim because I just wouldn’t get enough wear out of them, but I have several pairs of brightly-colored crops and work pants.
