Crop Top Wanna Be

I found this great polka-dot top at Crossroads and thought to myself “Let’s be a little daring and maybe, just maybe, wear it with shorts for a cute mid-drift-showing summer look.” Yea, I think my conservative self died for a second and was resurrected the moment I took it out of my closet to wear the next day. But no problem, good thing I had a high waisted skirt to pair it up with. Purchase saved.

And I know I haven’t really been keeping up with TST….this week is Florals. I had polka dots. Close enough. 😛

  1. This is adorable! And I actually really love crop tops with high waist skirts/bottoms!! I bought a super cute crop top, but so far have only worn it with a high waist skirt, too haha! Have fun and good luck on your hike!!! 😉

  2. That’s why longer crop tops are great! They can be paired with high waisted bottoms for a more conservative look…or on those days you feel a bit bloated! I love how you styled it here. Oh wow, that hike looks awesome! I can’t wait to hear how it goes—I would love to do that! Have fun 🙂
